Aboriginal Corporations

Supporting strong organisations through strategy, governance, engagement and independent advice.

You're balancing more than a business.

Community priorities. Governance obligations. Economic opportunities.

Funding requirements. Cultural responsibilities.

Aboriginal Corporations often carry responsibilities that extend far beyond running an organisation. We help Boards and CEOs navigate complexity, strengthen decision-making and build a clear path forward.

"There are too many opportunities, and not enough capacity."

Funding. Partnerships. Economic development. Board priorities. When everything feels important, it can be difficult to know what to pursue. We give you independent advice and strategic support to help you make sense of the chaos.

"We know where we want to go, but we're not all on the same page."

When programs, projects, partnerships and priorities are pulling in different directions, it can be difficult to maintain focus. We help you to create a shared vision, align stakeholders and build practical roadmaps for the future.

"We need evidence, not just opinions."

Community expectations can be difficult to navigate without clear information. Through engagement, facilitation and community audits, we help you understand priorities, test ideas and make informed decisions.

"We need decision making mechanisms our mob can trust."

Strong governance creates clarity, consistency and confidence. It helps you make transparent decisions, navigate competing views and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood.

Why Wander

Relationships come before recommendations

Strong outcomes are built on trust. We take the time to listen, understand context and build genuine relationships before offering advice.

We bring an independent perspective

Sometimes the most valuable voice in the room is an independent one. We help Boards and CEOs navigate difficult decisions with clarity, confidence and objectivity.

Meet Claire and Jade

Claire spent nearly a decade as CEO of a multi-company group in Kalgoorlie, helping businesses navigate growth, operational challenges and strategic decision-making while delivering practical support to small business owners across the region.

Jade has worked alongside regional Aboriginal businesses in the Goldfields, Midwest and Great Southern, supporting business growth, stakeholder relationships and strategic decision-making.

Together, they combine strategic thinking, practical experience and a relationship-first approach, to create positive outcomes.

It was great working with the team at Wander. They supported Gumala with a project, by providing comprehensive, and insightful recommendations to support our strategic objectives. They were quick, thorough and communicative to work with.

Jade was enthusiastic, positive and untiring in her efforts to support me.

Jade and the Wander team helped the Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation organise and run our Aboriginal ranger summit in 2024. They were friendly, experienced, efficient and provided fantastic operational and organisational support.

What Working Together Looks Like

01: Let's start with a yarn

Book a free 15-minute online catch up. Tell us what's going on, what's keeping you busy and what you're hoping to

achieve. No sales pitch, no pressure, just a conversation.

02: We explore the options

If we can help, we'll talk through some options. If another approach, provider or specialist would be a better fit, we'll tell you that too. The goal is to find the right path forward, not sell you something you don't need.

03: We get to work

Whether that's a one-off strategic session, ongoing advisory support, a plan, a review or something else entirely,  we show up, we do the work, and we make sure it's actually useful.

Let's talk about your Country and Community,
