OUR EVENTS
Walkanu Art Prize
(Kalgoorlie & Esperance)

The Walkanu Art Prize makes a significant economic impact by putting funds directly into the hands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists nationwide, aged 16 and above.

Through exhibitions held in Kalgoorlie and Esperance, artists are connected with potential buyers, further enhancing their visibility and market reach. Additionally, GABC offers business support, empowering artists to transform their passion into sustainable ventures. This holistic approach not only nurtures artistic talent but also stimulated economic growth within the First Nations Art Sector, fostering a vibrant and sustainable cultural landscape for years to come.
