Not-for-Profits
Supporting not-for-profits across regional Western Australia to grow, govern well and create meaningful impact.
"I've just stepped into this role and I don't want to get it wrong."
Many not-for-profit leaders find themselves managing funding, staff, volunteers, governance and stakeholder expectations with little support. We give you practical advice, an independent sounding board and strategic guidance when you need it most.
Why Wander
We've sat on both sides of the table
We've served on Boards, led not-for-profits and supported organisations through growth, governance challenges and funding pressures. We understand your realities because we've lived them.
We understand regional realities
Limited resources, stretched teams and growing community expectations are common challenges for regional organisations. Our advice is practical, realistic and designed to work in the real world.
We understand what's at stake
Funding, reputation, compliance and community trust are hard won and easily lost. We help organisations build strong foundations for long-term success.
We care about impact
Not-for-profits exist to create change. We get it and want to help you change the world.

Meet Claire and Jade
Claire and Jade have worked with not-for-profits of all sizes, from volunteer-led community organisations through to national peak bodies and established regional organisations.

Our NFP experience spans the arts, education, business, environmental, First Nations, logistics and community sectors, among others.

We believe strong communities need strong organisations. As Board members, volunteers, former NFP leaders and experienced advisors, we understand both the challenges and the rewards of purpose-led work.
Our approach combines practical experience, strategic thinking and a genuine commitment to helping organisations create lasting impact.
Jade and Claire facilitated our strategic plan review with our committee and community, developing an innovative and aspirational document to guide our organisation. Their engaging and positive approach brought out the best in all of us, resulting in a strategic plan we’re proud of and excited to implement.
General Manager, The Cannery Arts Centre
They were incredibly responsive, professional and easy to work with, while also remaining flexible and willing to adjust direction where needed along the way. Communication was efficient, timelines were met, and the overall quality of work delivered exceeded expectations. The entire process felt collaborative, thoughtful and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for our organisation.
Strategic Development Manager, Peel CCI
Working with Wander has been a great experience. They quickly got up to speed by listening closely and asking the right questions. This gave us confidence in their ability to manage our communications and marketing effectively. Their communication is clear and reliable, and their diverse skill set has been a real asset. They’ve shown they can represent our voice authentically, and we’ve genuinely enjoyed collaborating with them on multiple projects.

What Working Together Looks Like
01: Let's start with a yarn
Book a free 15-minute online catch up. Tell us what's going on, what's keeping you busy and what you're hoping to
achieve. No sales pitch, no pressure, just a conversation.
02: We explore the options
If we can help, we'll talk through some options. If another approach, provider or specialist would be a better fit, we'll tell you that too. The goal is to find the right path forward, not sell you something you don't need.
03: We get to work
Whether that's a one-off strategic session, ongoing advisory support, a plan, a review or something else entirely, we show up, we do the work, and we make sure it's actually useful.
Let's talk about your mission and your future.
