2024 Young Business Person of the Year, Great Southern
Based in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, Jade is a strategic project leader with a knack for finding solutions where others see roadblocks. With nearly a decade of experience spanning state government and consulting roles across Perth, the Eastern and Northern Goldfields, and the Great Southern, she’s built a reputation for getting things done - even when the stakeholders seem worlds apart.
Jade’s superpower lies in bringing people together. She connects stakeholders with vastly different worldviews, calmly navigating tension and complexity to keep things moving forward. A passionate ally in the First Nations space, she approaches this work with genuine respect and cultural humility; listening deeply, learning continuously, and building trust through consistent, meaningful action.
Her skillset is broad—project management, stakeholder engagement, regional development—but it’s her systems thinking that sets her apart. Jade sees patterns others miss and makes practical connections between people, ideas, and opportunities. She’s the one asking “why not?” when everyone else is stuck on “why.”
Known for her fairness and calm clarity, Jade brings both head and heart to her work. She holds consistent standards, treats everyone with the same respect, and somehow still remembers your kids’ names while managing complex local dynamics. She keeps people focused on shared goals, even when the stakes are high or the path forward feels murky.
Across government, not-for-profits and Aboriginal corporations, Jade has supported initiatives that require both strategic leadership and strong relational trust. Her optimism is grounded in professionalism, and her commitment to reconciliation and social justice is present in every room she walks into.
When impact matters and relationships are non-negotiable, Jade is the one people trust to bring it all together.
